Our Evaluation

From looking into the features of the Inglesina Quid 3, we can tell you that it gets an all-star rating on its promise of comfort and portability. Here is what we’ve found.

Why We Chose to Highlight This Stroller

We chose the Inglesina Quid 3 for its combination of comfort and folding ability. The manufacturer’s manual lists folded dimensions of 18.3 × 23.2 × 7.5 inches and notes that the stroller weighs about 14 lbs. This puts it right in the middle for travel stroller weights.

Stroller Mom’s review confirms these stats and points out the stroller’s deep 150° recline and UPF 50+ canopy. These features, along with the compact fold, make the Quid 3 a strong competitor in the travel stroller category. It’s no surprise that it is gaining popularity among travel-savvy parents.

Personal Experience

During testing, the Quid 3 impressed us with its easy fold and solid construction. The recline angle and adjustable leg rest allowed our toddler to nap comfortably. The canopy’s ventilation panel kept the seat area cool in warm weather, and the peek‑a‑boo window made it easy to check on our child.

The stroller rolls well on smooth surfaces, though the small wheels can struggle on rougher terrain. Given, you probably won’t be going on a hike with it!

The basket is large enough for a small diaper bag, but not much more, so consider that if you have a large family diaper bag, you may have to stuff it down, or wear it.

When It’s Worth the Investment

The Quid 3 is worth considering if you prioritize a deep recline and a compact fold. Its price sits in the mid‑range, and the Italian styling sets it apart visually. Families who travel frequently will appreciate its ability to fit in overhead bins and the comfortable recline for naps. Note from us, though: bin size varies widely from airline to airline, so your miles may vary (YMMV) in terms of if staff will request up front that you gate-check it.

According to the instruction manual, the stroller is suitable for children from 3 months up to 55 lbs, so it can be used well into the toddler years.

Considerations

This stroller is not newborn‑ready without additional inserts or car seat adapters. The basket capacity is smaller than on some competing models, and there is no included parent organizer or cup holder. Car seat compatibility requires separate adapters.

Also, the rear wheels are small, so the Quid 3 is best for paved surfaces and smooth sidewalks. If you need a stroller for more rugged terrain, other options may suit you better, like an all-terrain double-wheeled (or 8-wheel) stroller, or even a jogging stroller type with three big wheels.

Bottom Line

The Inglesina Quid 3 is a stylish, feature‑rich travel stroller that offers a deep recline in its seat, and an excellent sun canopy for coverage. While it may not be ideal for newborns or rough terrain, that’s OK! We think that it provides an appealing balance of comfort and travel size ease for families on the go.
