These terms apply to the Half Half Travel website, including its email-delivered resources, member content and interactive tools. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle subscription information, access cookies and browser storage.

Email Offers and Subscriber Access

Our signup forms describe the resource and emails you are requesting. New subscriptions require email confirmation before subscription-based access can be verified. We use Kit to manage subscriptions, email delivery and access checks. Submitting a form does not guarantee email delivery or establish a confirmed subscription.

The NYC cafe map is a free email offer with occasional cafe updates. Gear-deal alerts require a separate request and follow your selected interests. Requesting a lesson follows the newsletter and course-access terms shown on its signup form. Requesting another offer while already subscribed may add that offer’s interests to your existing subscription.

You can unsubscribe using the link in our emails. This stops subscription emails from our Kit list and may end access that depends on an active subscription, including the cafe map and free member course access. A separately valid historical course purchase retains its course entitlement. To change a particular email interest, reply to an email or contact us. Signing out of a tool does not unsubscribe you.

Personal map and lesson links are intended for the recipient’s own use. Do not share or publish them: they contain access information associated with your email address. The permission below to share a public article does not include sharing personal access links or redistributing protected member content.

Map links expire after one year, and lesson-confirmation links expire after seven days. Access still requires the applicable subscription or course entitlement. Access cookies remember a session for a limited period and do not guarantee permanent access. You may need to reopen your personal link or sign in after a session expires, you switch browsers or devices, or you clear browser storage. If a link expires or cannot be verified, contact us for help.

Email delivery, subscription verification and map display depend on third-party services, your internet connection and browser support. These functions may be delayed or temporarily unavailable. We may update or discontinue free tools or change how access is delivered. No particular email frequency, uninterrupted availability or lifetime access to a free tool is promised.

NYC Cafe Map and Saved Favorites

The map brings together locations and notes from our published guides. Its cafe, amenity and laptop-policy information is an editorial snapshot, not a live check of opening hours, seating, WiFi, outlets, bathrooms or permission to work with a laptop. Check directly with the cafe before visiting. Map tiles and directions come from external providers, and their own terms apply to those services.

Saved favorites belong to the browser and device where you save them. They are not backed up to your subscriber account or synchronized across devices and can be lost when browser storage is cleared or unavailable. The map’s list and guide links may remain usable when map tiles fail to load.

Unless otherwise stated, all written content on this site is owned by HalfHalfTravel, and/or our affiliates or licensors, and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. The Site is provided solely for your personal non-commercial use. You may not use the Site or the materials available on the Site in a manner that constitutes an infringement of our rights or that has not been authorized by us. More specifically, you may not modify, copy, reproduce, republish, upload, post, translate, sell, create derivative works, exploit, or distribute in any manner or medium (including by email or other electronic means) any material from the Site without prior permission.
