Our Evaluation

The Ergobaby Metro 3 proved to be one of the most comfortable compact strollers we tested. Its deep recline and cushioned seat allow young babies and toddlers to nap comfortably, and the one‑hand fold is convenient.

At 16.7 lbs and supporting children up to 50 lbs, it’s heavier than the smallest travel strollers, but still manageable for travel. We find 17 lbs to be the high end of travel strollers, and the Ergobaby Metro 3 is almost at that total weight mark, before accessories.

The additional comfort features justify the extra weight for many families. The padded seat is especialy nice for toddlers who want a cushioned ride similar to a larger stroller.
