After nearly two weeks in Israel, we stepped back and realized all of the colors we had seen, from Middle Eastern spices in the markets to the blue skies that accented the soft ridges of mountains in the desert. Aquamarine waters washed up against rocky shores in Tel Aviv, and a spectrum of oranges, yellows and reds comprised the fruit selection in the Machane Yehuda Shuk in Jerusalem. Israel is a land of contrast, and it holds true for its colors as well.
