After testing more joggers than I’d like to admit, the lululemon ABC Jogger Warpstreme keeps making the cut for travel days and remote-work stints. Can one pair of joggers handle a red-eye flight, a coworking session and dinner out with friends without looking as bland as “athleisure”? That’s the hurdle that the LLL ABC joggers manage to clear. They’re clean enough to pass for office casual (if your workplace dress code allows) yet stretchy and breathable when I’m sprinting through an airport terminal.

4.34 / 5
The lululemon ABC Jogger Warpstreme are polished travel joggers with wrinkle-resistant fabric and thoughtful pocket design including a zip back pocket and hidden phone sleeve. They're clean enough for office casual yet stretchy and breathable for airport sprints, though the waistband could be softer and pet hair sticks to the fabric.
Fit and feel
Like most things from lululemon, the feel is one that I can trust. Every LLL product tends to have all the features and fits thought out, although some run long. But, let’s take a look at how these fit me.
- I’m 5’9” with a 32” waist and the Size M fits, but the waistband leans snug, so size up if you’re between sizes or plan on layering a tucked shirt.
- The tapered leg and ankle cuff sit close without hugging; I can wear them with slip-on sneakers or boots without extra fabric pooling and looking weird.
- The hidden drawcord tucks inside the waistband when I want a cleaner look, and it stays put so I’m not fishing for lace ends mid-flight.
Warpstreme fabric in practice
Warpstreme is lululemon’s recycled polyester/nylon blend with elastane. What that means is: four-way stretch, wrinkle resistance and quick drying after a spill (this is useful when your toddler is sitting on your lap spilling whatever’s in their cup). I’ve rolled these up in a carry-on and they still look fresh when I land.
The fabric has a subtle sheen that reads more “performance chino” than sweatpant, which helps when you’re bouncing between meetings and playground time. I also think it doesn’t let the joggers get as baggy as other joggers I’ve seen, and they definintely do not spell out “gymwear.” Maybe in my head I’m calling them my “decent” joggers that truly look good whether with a hoodie or a polo.

Pocket setup
Let’s talk about the pockets, because I’m nearly always using my pockets for keys, a wallet and my phone. If you asked Becca, she’ll often find our toddler’s hair accessories or some supermarket receipts in my pants pockets when she’s putting in the laundry, so:
- Two deep hand pockets allow a phone and passport without being obvious that they’re in there, even when I throw in the family boarding passes.
- The right back pocket zips shut for cards or a slim wallet so I’m not worried about things sliding out during a red-eye nap. This is also great for theft-proofing during travel.
- A hidden phone sleeve inside the right pocket keeps my device upright so it doesn’t flop while I’m moving or sitting on a plane. I don’t use this pocket as much as I should.
What I’d change
- The waistband could be 5% softer; after sitting a while, it leaves a light imprint on my skin that eases up once I move around.
- Pet hair sticks to the fabric more than I’d like, so I pack a lint roller when we hang out with our friends who have cats.
- Taller travelers might want the longer inseam option because the regular length hits just above my ankle (I’m 5’9”). It might run short on you if you are taller than 6’0”.

Comfort against skin
86%
The waistband could be 5% softer - after sitting a while, it leaves a light imprint on my skin that eases up once I move around. But overall, these are comfortable enough for flying, road trips and train rides. The four-way stretch moves naturally, and they're comfy enough for sprinting through an airport terminal.
Fit, mobility & sizing accuracy
80%
I'm 5'9" with a 32" waist and the Size M fits, but the waistband leans snug, so size up if you're between sizes or plan on layering a tucked shirt. The tapered leg and ankle cuff sit close without hugging. Taller travelers might want the longer inseam option because the regular length hits just above my ankle. Materials, durability & easy care
90%
Warpstreme is lululemon's recycled polyester/nylon blend with elastane. The technical fabric handles wrinkles, sweat and light rain. They usually don't feel soaked because they dry fast. I've rolled these up in a carry-on and they still look fresh when I land. Pet hair sticks to the fabric more than I'd like, so I pack a lint roller when we hang out with our friends who have cats.
Durability & abrasion resistance
84%
The fabric doesn't let the joggers get as baggy as other joggers I've seen. They maintain their shape well through multiple wears and washes. The construction feels solid, though I haven't had them long enough to test long-term durability extensively.
Breathability & moisture management
86%
The technical fabric handles sweat well. They're breathable when I'm sprinting through an airport terminal, and the moisture-wicking properties work as expected. They don't feel clammy or uncomfortable during active travel days.
Temperature regulation
84%
They work well across different temperature scenarios. Whether I'm on a red-eye flight or walking around a warm destination, they keep me comfortable without feeling too hot or too cold. The fabric adapts reasonably well to temperature changes.
Stretch, mobility & shape retention
88%
The four-way stretch moves naturally with my body. The fabric maintains its shape remarkably well - no bagging out at the knees or sagging after a long day of wear. The stretch doesn't compromise the joggers' durability or professional appearance.
Pocket function & travel security
92%
The pockets are thoughtfully designed for travel essentials. Two deep hand pockets allow a phone and passport without being obvious. The right back pocket zips shut for cards or a slim wallet so I'm not worried about things sliding out during a red-eye nap. A hidden phone sleeve inside the right pocket keeps my device upright. I appreciate the zip pocket for sure.
Wrinkle resistance & packability
90%
I've rolled these up in a carry-on and they still look fresh when I land. The wrinkle resistance is excellent, which is crucial for travel pants that need to look good after being stuffed in luggage. The technical fabric handles compression well.
Styling versatility
90%
They're clean enough to pass for office casual yet stretchy and breathable when I'm sprinting through an airport terminal. The subtle sheen reads more "performance chino" than sweatpant, which helps when bouncing between meetings and playground time. They definitely do not spell out "gymwear."
Overall value for price
86%
The ABC Joggers are a win, and I've compared them in my mind to countless other joggers I've tried. They're nearly perfect. The price is justified by the quality, versatility and thoughtful design. If you need a pair of travel pants that can handle a client lunch after a flight, these are a strong contender.
