Why we like it

From super popular travel brand Osprey, the Daylite Waist Pack is perfect for outdoor activities when I want all my essentials and valuables close by, and in a rugged and durable fanny pack.

The design of this fanny pack accommodates lots of travel scenarios and my needs during them, from trekking, to camping, boating, fishing, biking and more.

It has an ergonomic design, set to support the weight inside it when it sits at my waist. And with the mesh interior that goes against my body, it helps keep sweat or body perspiration to a minimum in terms of getting through the material to affect anything inside.

The interior mesh organizer with the key clip and the 5-pocket organization system helps with organization, especially when there’s a few things floating around in it. The adjustable strap is surprisingly long, at 20-50 inches, and that’ll help with a good fit for most travelers, whether male or female.

Considerations

There are two things to consider. The first is that it is not machine-washable. This might be a downside if you plan on taking it hiking, trekking or camping, where it’s bound to get dusty, dirty or stained by anything that comes your way, whether it’s wine, coffee or mud. This fanny pack is hand wash only.

Next, it’s not chic, minimalist or trend-forward. The Daylite Waist Pack is specifically made for the outdoors, down to the fast-grab zipper pulls, bright company logo and ergonomic design and shape. My best suggestion is to buy this fanny pack if you do want to use it for what it’s made for: being hands-free in the outdoors, and keeping your valuables safe, in your line of sight and handy while you’re enjoying an activity.
