For our first day in Lisbon, we collaborated with the Remote Year group currently in Lisbon to share our love of travel and photography. We met the photo-enthusiast group in the morning and together, we took a walk, while stopping for photos along the way, from WIP Lisboa all the way to the Miradouro de Santa Luzia in the Alfama. What was most interesting for us, and we hope the feeling was mutual, was sharing the types of photography in which we have experience with those who shoot with different gear and have gotten experience in different ways. It was also great that our group hailed from the US to Russia to England.

Lisbon is one of our favorite cities for photography because there is so much perspective, architecture and street life. The buildings are beautiful, the viewpoints are plentiful and the hills are steep! We got quite a workout wandering through the Alfama with some new friends, making our way through alleys and watching locals set up for the biggest nights of the annual Festival of Saint Anthony (Festas de Lisboa, in Portuguese).

We hope to be back in Lisbon and we look forward to following some new talent on Instagram!
