A trip to San Francisco and all its painted walls and local art inspired me to create this wall-themed halfhalf featuring a mural in SF and a tile design Dan found in Lisbon.

One thing Dan and I both loved about Lisbon were the special tiles and tile art that is found on walls in the city. In contrast, San Francisco has a very quickly-developing art scene and many alleys of the Mission District are dedicated to the painted work of local artists who depict everything from cultural references to political topics. If you look closely in this halfhalf, you can see that we matched up the wood from the painted garage door with the lines of the tiles.
